Don't be misled by Donita Rose's demure exteriors into thinking that she's just a gentle, mild-mannered VJ that we've all come to love. There's also a side of her that harbors a natural attraction to thrills.

"I've always wanted to do sky-diving," she proclaimed. "I've been wanting to do it for years...I used to always dream about flying. But a lot of people have come up to me and told me horror stories, and now I'm a little concerned."

While Donita has yet to try her hand at "flying," she has found that kick-boxing in the gym is a lot of fun. "It reduces stress...you kind of forget about all your worries for the day.

" Hobbies wise, Donita is also interested in scuba diving and dancing ("I love, love, love, love to dance. I cannot stress how much I love dancing," she said). She is also currently looking for somebody who can give her singing lessons. Aside from being a VJ, TV celebrity, and live-show host, she is a well-known actress in the Philippines with over 30 movies under her belt.

Proficient in English and Tagalog, Donita truly embodies the perfect marriage of Western and Asian cultures. It's the balance between her two cultures that makes her so appealing in her native Philippines and all across Asia.

Donita also enjoys traveling and has visited the U.S., Europe, and most of exotic Asia. In her free time, she enriches herself by reading up on almost every topic and subject of interest, either through books or by surfing the Net. Always on the prowl for knowledge,Donita also plans to complete her college degree in the future.
